A Clichéd Fall Adventure in New England

There are a few things that scream “fall” to me: oversized flannel, cozy sweaters, leather boots, and pumpkin patches. Like clock work, every year, I find time to get friends together for a cliched fall activity: apple picking. It’s THE fall activity for New Englanders. It’s practically a right of citizenship. That and being a Patriots fan.

On this particular day, I brought together two of my best friends and favorite Instagrammers, Stephanie (@heyrinehart) and Sarah (@sarah.emily.wellness). It was exciting for me because it’s good to feel like my blogger tribe is growing, and these ladies are seriously awesome to spend a day with.

We ventured to Cider Hill Farms in Amesbury, Mass., where they not only have an extensive apple orchard, but also lots of pumpkins, goats, chickens and most importantly, cider donuts. They were so busy on a Sunday that you had to wait in line to get to the fresh stock pile of warm donuts. BEST. DONUT. EVER. Can’t recommend them enough.

Aside from all the tasty snacks, the real goal was to get some cool content for our blogs and Instagram feeds, a sample of which is below. If you haven’t already, check out Sarah’s new health and wellness blog. I also recommend reading Stephanie’s latest blog post from her recent trip to Norway

Until next time, here goes nothing.
