This ELOQUII review has been a long time coming. I’ve been slowly filling my wardrobe with ELOQUII clothes for a couple of years now—everything from clutches to dresses to jackets. I know it can be scary to try new brands, but I am writing this review to tell you: ELOQUII is worth the risk! And I’ll share all the tips and tricks I can to help you pick some amazing new pieces for your wardrobe.
What is ELOQUII?
ELOQUII is a plus size clothing brand for sizes 12-28 that believes in the transformational power of fashion. As they put it on their site, “ELOQUII is the ultimate destination for trendy plus size fashion. With everything from dresses to outerwear to shoes, we offer the best in contemporary fashion to women in sizes 14-28. Not only do we seek out the hottest styles, but we obsess over fit. Taking trends from the runway to your closet, ELOQUII offers exactly what you need for both your professional and weekend wardrobe.” They give plus size women access to fashion-forward, well-fitting, live-loudly clothing. The brand embraces color and flare and standing out. ELOQUII gives plus size women access to clothing that breaks the rules and looks good doing it.

How Does ELOQUII Clothing Fit?
ELOQUII isn’t a brand that extended their sizes. It’s a brand MADE for plus size bodies and that is reflected in their sizing and fit. They have three different sizing charts for different shapes.
Regular Fit: Proportional bust and hips with a defined waistline. Measured in inches.
Viola Fit: For a body shape with hips 1 to 2 sizes larger than the bust. Measured in inches.
Gena Fit: For a body shape with a fuller mid-section and narrower hips and thighs. Measured in inches.
I tend to wear the regular fit sizing. I find that ELOQUII clothes fit true to size. I wear an 18/20 or 20 in most items—especially in pants or clothes with sleeves. If I’m wearing a more flowy dress or top with no sleeves, I’ll go with an 18. Here’s their complete size chart for reference:
Does Eloquii Fit True to Size?
In my experience, Eloquii does fit true to size. I do recommend referring to the size chart to be sure especially in the hip and bust depending on the material. If you’re like me and have larger arms, I do size up in anything with sleeves, especially in tops with no stretch.
Eloquii vs. Torrid Sizing
I wear Eloquii and Torrid fairly regularly, and it’s a pretty good match between brands in my experience. For reference, I usually wear a size 2 top in Torrid and a size 20 or 22 top in Eloquii. In jeans, I’m a 20 or 22 in both brands. As noted above, I do recommend looking at the different types of sizing like the Viola to find the perfect fit.

ELOQUII Faux Leather Moto Jacket
I own the ELOQUII Faux Leather Moto Jacket in two colors: black and pink. It’s the best plus size leather jacket I’ve found yet for a reasonable price. It’s $135 full price, but ELOQUII constantly runs sales, so chances are you can buy it for 50% off like I did.
ELOQUII Colorblocked Midi Dress
This midi dress is candy-colored gold. It’s chic and whimsical and people literally just stop me in the street when I wear it. It’s a showstopper. This is one of those pieces that I sized down to a size 18 because it has a flowy skirt and no sleeves.

ELOQUII Long Tailored Blazer
I love this blazer because it will never go out of style and it’s perfect for spring to summer and summer to fall transition. It can be thrown on with shorts, jeans, or dresses. It makes nearly anything, even a graphic tee, look sophisticated.

ELOQUII Long Sleeve Turtleneck Top
I love this turtleneck because it’s kind of a crop and a thin fabric, so you don’t get too sweaty when you wear it. I like to wear it with high-waisted skinny jeans and leopard mules.
