Finally, a Slip Dress Made for Curves – Refinery29 x Eloquii

Classic curvy girl problem: You see a straight size person rocking a piece of clothing and you think, “I want to try that.” Then, you click the link or search the web and you find that the item only goes up to a large. I found myself in that exact scenario when I saw Rachel Martino, a favorite fashionista of mine, wearing a stunning golden slip dress in Grand Central Station. I wanted that dress, but I couldn’t find anything similar in my size–until now.

Enter: The Refinery29 x Eloquii Collection

Refinery29 and Eloquii teamed up to create the first crowdsourced collection. By crowdsourced, they mean “After surveying more than 1,000 women across the U.S. and hosting three digital forums with 29 Ambassadors, Refinery29 x ELOQUII led the design of the collection, made for sizes 12 to 28, with feedback from the community itself.” The collection includes many great pieces for everyday wear, but my favorite is the R29 x ELOQUII Cowl Neck Slip Dress. It’s nearly identical to the one Rachel wore, but perfectly fits someone with a few more curves (and goes up to a size 28!).

The material is thicker than I expected, which I appreciate because it doesn’t show every flaw. It has some stretch and fits true to size. It hits below the knee (for context, I’m 5’8′).
