In late February, the Silver Legacy at The ROW Reno hosted my fiancé and I for a weekend staycation, and what a time we had! From spa sessions to Top Golf, we experienced some of the top things to do at the Silver Legacy Resort and Casino. So, I’m going to give you some high-level recommendations to check off your to-do list, and then we can dive into some of favorite things.
Note: Most experiences were comped. Reviews and opinions are my own.
Top Things to Do at the Silver Legacy Reno and The Row Reno
- Stay in a Deluxe Spa Suite in a top floor of the Silver Legacy.
- Book a massage in the Silver Legacy spa, and spend some time in the salt room.
- Reserve a booth and grab your friends for some virtual gaming at Top Golf.
- Order some martinis and oysters at Roxy’s.
- Put $20 in the casino slot machine.
- Have a romantic Italian dinner at La Strada.
- Laugh your ass off at the Laugh Factory.
Book a Couples Massage at the Spa at Silver Legacy
As part of our experience, the hotel made us a reservation at The Spa. I had experienced it before when it first happened back in 2018 and I’m glad to say, I’m still a fan. Jared and I did a couples massage. The rooms were large and calming. The massage therapists were awesome. The gender-specific “locker rooms” filled with saunas, steam rooms and plus size robes were luxurious. And while we lounged in the 21,000-square-foot space, we were able to sip on a bottle of champagne. Talk about luxury! This was easily my favorite thing to do at the Silver Legacy Spa.
Do a Bar & Food Crawl Through All 3 Resorts
Fun fact: The Silver Legacy in Reno, Nevada is attached to the El Dorado and Circus Circus. You could spend a whole weekend exploring all of its corners. I recommend starting with some fun with food and beverages. Head to Roxy’s and ask the bartender to make you a martini (the menu is extensive!). I recommend an espresso martini personally. While you’re there, order some oysters and calamari.
Make reservations at La Strada in the El Dorado and order….anything! While they have an extensive wine menu, you might enjoy the Ferrari-Carano wines, which are created by the same family who previously owned these downtown casino resorts. Anyways, it’s all delicious. Make sure to save room for dessert, too. The tiramisu is *chef’s kiss*. This will be a pricier night out, but well worth it if you want to indulge.
For breakfast (and a mimosa, of course), head over to Madame Butterworks in Circus Circus. Eggs benny and the fresh-squeezed OJ will hit the spot.
Silver Legacy Reno Entertainment Options
The attractions at the Silver Legacy go beyond eating, drinking and gambling (all of if which make for a good time). While you’re on site, make sure you get tickets to a show at The Laugh Factory—the on-site comedy club featuring local and national acts. It’s low-key and an unexpected way to spend a night.
The other surprise was Top Golf. This isn’t a big outdoor set up. Instead, it’s an upscale bar with virtual golf bays. Each group has a couch and tables. You can order food from around the casino, grab cocktails and wine. And you can play golf and many other games.
There you have it. A few amazing things to do at the Silver Legacy Reno! Looking for things to do in Reno, Nevada? I’ve got you covered. As always, feel free to slide into my DMs if I can answer any questions.
