From a David's Bridal Ambassador, @HereGoesGabbi
If you don't know what you like, make a solo bridal appointment. Work with a stylist to try on a ton of dresses. and see what feels good BEFORE you bring in friends and family for opinions.
#1
Pick a bridal shop that carries a lot of dresses in your size (like David's Bridal with samples up to size 30W). It's game changer for confidence.
#2
Be open to the unexpected. Tell your stylist what you like, but also let them pull some dresses for you that surprise you. They may not be the one, but they'll make your "yes" so much easier.
#3
When you bring in your people to make the decision on "the dress', bring in people who support you, love you and understand the vision for your day. And those who won't criticize your body. It's okay to NOT invite people who bring you down.

5. When it comes to accessorizing, try veils (even if you don't think you're a veil person). Try a tiara just because. Don't knock it until you try it, and let yourself embrace your inner princess (if that's your thing).
