Things to Do in Bristol, England

According to @heregoesgabbi

First of all, the train is quick and easy from London Paddington Station to Bristol Temple Mead. But Bristol does have it's own airport.

I stayed at the Brooks Guesthouse near St. Nicholas Marketplace, and it was a safe and central area, close to the train station. Breakfast was delicious here. Fair warning in the summer: There is no air conditioning.

Grab lunch from a stall in St. Nicholas Marketplace. Everything from greek to BBQ to meat pies can be found here in a casual setting.

Put on your walking shoes and stroll along the river and the harbor. Feel the sea breeze and get a sense of the city.

While you're out, Google "Banksy art near me" and check out some of his renown graffiti. Fun fact: Bristol is his hometown.

Head up the hill to Clifton Observatory and take in the view of the Suspension Bridge. It's breathtaking!

Grab a cocktail at Gin & Juice. Their over-the-top presentation and decor is well worth it.

Visit the Bristol Cathedral for a little history and don't skip the beautiful garden hidden in the back.

Bristol is full of surprises from speakeasy bars to stunning views. I definitely recommend spending a few days here if you can. Follow my Instagram (@heregoesgabbi) for more U.K. travel ideas and view the full highlight below)
