‘Tis the season for sparkle. For me, it’s my birthday (Nov. 9) and then the holiday season–and I’ll be wearing sequins all the way. For the perfect sparkly birthday outfit, I went to my trusty Trunk Club stylist, Gracie. She never steers me wrong.
While she sent me a lot of beautiful, saucy, sparkly dresses, there was one that was true perfection: Eloquii Sequin Wrap Dress in Champagne. It hugs every curve flawlessly, as wrap dresses do, and it is nicely lined. It’s like my inner diva in the form of a dress. I feel amazing in it.
Shop Sequined Dresses from Eloquii, Nordstrom Rack, and More
A quality sequined dress will cost you a pretty penny, but it doesn’t have to be outrageous if you keep an eye out for sales. Eloquii is constantly running sales. So, the Sequin Wrap Dress that costs $170 can usually be found for at least 40% off if you wait for the right timing.
In case this wrap dress isn’t you’re style, I’ve sourced some other great plus size sequin dresses that might be more your speed. Just scroll through them below and click a photo if you like one to shop the look.
Let’s Talk Hair
I get asked a lot about my hair tools. For this shoot, I curled my hair using my tried and true Tyme Iron. It’s similar to curling with a straight iron but it gives you more of a ringlet. I usually curl my hair the night before and sleep on it. That loosens them a bit. I’ve had it for at least 5 years now, and it works as well as ever. The Tyme Iron is well worth the investment.
